For the next few days, I'll be light on the words and just share a few of my favorite ornaments and holiday images with you!
This one came from my friend Judy, a gift several years ago. He doesn't leave at Christmas, but stays up through snow season!
Do you have special ornaments or decorations that came from a friend? What are they?!

I have this small little Christmas tree that has little gingerbread mean on it that my SIL made for me a couple of years ago. It's a tiny tree, maybe a foot tall? So I put it on the shelf in my kitchen. The ornaments give off that lovely gingerbread aroma so it's one of my favorite decorations. :)
Your new background is great!
One of my favorite ornaments is a sweet wooded Santa that I purchased at a charity thrift shope a few years ago.
I love your snowman. I can understand why you leave him out all through the snow season.
Dear J, I know you're busy. That's ok. You're probably turning paper into wonderful gifts and things. Love this ornament. Always a pleasure to stop by, and for now, nearly as good as stopping over at your house for a cup of coffee. I love these holiday evenings, and really, if we hadn't just come from a holiday party, I would hie myself to my little craft/office and do SOMETHING (probably Xmas cards with glitter and tinsel added to them.)
Hugs to you, Gypsy and Greg & Boys
I really like that snowman, he looks like liquidy melting metal. I haven't got my christmas stuff out (I think it's way too early, but it seems everyone else has theirs up.) When I do, I'll find some favourites,
Hi Jeanie! I am treating myself to some holiday cheer and visiting all my blogland friends. What a holiday treat it is! I love this time of year, like you.
I like your snowman ornament. I am a lover of ornaments, too. When the kids were born, I started buying each one of them a special ornament every year, putting their name and the date on it. They would find them in their St Nick stockings on December 6th. Well, last year Fiona moved into the world of grownups, and 21 ornaments left my tree! I still have the collections from the other two, so my tree won't be bare.
I do have a few from my tree when I was little, as well as their dad's. I will have to divvy them up some day...
Happy Holidays!
And I sure got a good chuckle seeing the poor, wet, bedraggled Gyps :-)
Great question. I have hats and snowflakes that were crocheted by my aunt and special little ornaments that my son made when he was little and some vintage ornaments that belonged to my husband's mother. All special in their own way. Your snowman is adorable.
No ornaments from friends, but treasures I have found. One I like to keep up for a while is a handcarved Santa mold for making paper mache Santa's. I may just show it this next week on the blog. I love this gift you received from your friend.
That's a beautiful piece of metal craft. I would leave him out too.
I have special ornaments from my mother.
He makes me smile.
i wish all your blogger friends were as lucky as me and could come over to see all of the ornaments in person, your home is so filled with your love & beauty ♥
some of my favorite ornaments are from my grandparents, each year they had all of their grandchildrens names inscribed on a new ornament, some from their travels abroad :-)
the most precious thing my mom gave each of her 5 kids when we move out is a box of all the ornaments we made and all that were given to us as gifts ~ the memories they stir up is amazing ☀
