Autumn Pinks at Southern Exposure
Here are a few more photos -- focusing on the wonderful pinks and reds.
The hydrangeas are always favorites.
I loved seeing the frail, beautiful petals and skeleton leaves.
Pale pink roses in a bird bath.
The fountains weren't without their beautiful arrangements, either.
I loved the mix of hot pinks and oranges.
There's something about this color combo I can't resist!
Pumpkins everywhere, set off by red petunias.
The nasturtiums had plenty of red to share.
And of course the trees were in full color.
Elaborate fountains.
Glorious flowering kale.
The pale pinks and burgundy of the grasses.
And the last roses of summer.

Amazing shots of colorful flowers and leaves!
I think you found absolutely everything pink at Southern Exposure. Like you, I adore combining pink and orange. Beautiful photos. I'd love some of those skeleton leaves! Have a fantastic Thursday.
What a wonderful place to be, I think I would enjoy myself wandering about there with my camera! Thanks for sharing, and have a great day, hugs, Valerie
Stunning♥ Nice flowers for my morning ♥
WOW what beautiful flowers. Love all the pretty colors.
Thanks so much for sharing.

pretty pretty pretty
The colors are a mazing. I love natures beauty in the fall, the last color until spring.........I enjoyed my walking tour Jeanie...........
Pink and orange as natural colors in flowers, leaves, and fruit, are vivid and beautiful. As I looked at your photos I was thinking about how these colors appear in fabric prints or wall paper -- usually made so stylized and garish. And thinking about how the combination was once popular, but no longer. But the natural colors are eternal...

A beautiful display of colors. You have such a good eye!
Loved this COLOR post . . .
Scrumptious . . .
I think we should schedule/plan a "meet up" at Southern Exposure ??
You have captured such beautiful images! Stunning! The colors are AMAZING! :)
We have been blessed to have our flowers a little later this year, with unseasonably warmer weather. It's so nice to look out and see all the pretty flowers still. Is it really November?
God Bless! Net :)
Jeanie, someday I'll make it to Southern Exposure. In the meantime, I'm glad you've taken me there in these beautiful posts. Love the leaf photos, too!
Wonderful photos! I especially like the flowering Kale.
They're all gorgeous, but I LOVE the pink roses! I'm a total sucker for pink roses. :-)
What a lovely place to visit. The soft pink roses in the birth bath are so pretty. I love seeing the reds on the trees during this season of Autumn. And that pumpkin picture is delightful, Jeanie.

Truly breathtaking. I'd love to visit Southern Exposure.
There is still so much color to rejoice over! We still have many late summer flowers in bloom coupled with the fabulous colors of fall. The burning bush here has a pink tint and the hydrangeas, YES! I love this muted phase of summer blush.
You might be enjoying your last rose of summer but the Aussie roses are just bursting into full bloom and are glorious at the moment, lovely photos Jeanie. I love the roses in the bird bath, that's a clever idea :)

Those beautiful blossoms are such a delight, especially so late in the season. Even here in Wisconsin we're still looking at our Dragon Wing begonias, dahlias, and even our house plants (that will be brought in the end of next week), because we're having an unusually late fall. It's perfect weather. I enjoyed your photos, and that flowering kale. It is such a beautiful plant.
I love visiting this garden with you. The colors are spectacular.
What lovely snaps of all of the foliage! Hope you're doing well and thanks for popping in to see me.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
A great tour of beautiful flowers. Your photos are great.
I'm a gardener and love all flowers. Wish I were an artist like you but only my daughter fits that description.
Lovely post.
Thank you for your kind visit.I am a new follower and happy to meet you.
I just hope that someday I will be able to visit Southern Exposure.
I know full well that Southern Exposure is a magical and gentle spot on this planet where harmony prevails and gardens bloom.
You share it so beautifully Jeanie. Always a treat to walk the gardens with you.

Beautiful colors but I also love the look of those fragile skeleton leaves, Jeanie.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful photos, Jeanie! I needed a bright pop of colors this morning to offset my sort of (ok, really) grumpy mood (I'm dealing with a difficult/demanding tenant situation). Pink is my favorite color so I especially love these photos. Those grounds are just stunning!!
your garden is beautiful. I can't believe our roses are blooming in November in Oklahoma. It's a crazy year.
Your flowers are stunning. So uplifting to gaze upon. Autumn is pretty, but there's something renewing about spring and summer.
Definitely worth a second time around.
Beautiful blooms! Hydrangeas have always been my favorite.
Jeanie... your photos are gorgeous, as always. I think you should make a calendar of them. Especially love the one of the birdbath. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
I always enjoy seeing what's blooming and displayed at Southern Exposure. It must lift your spirit just to wander the grounds.
So beautiful!
Have a wondrous weekend.
Love all the colors..,beautiful! Happy Sunday, Pam @ Everyday Living
