Someone is waiting!

 Someone...

 And I'm not saying who...

But someone is waiting for Christmas!

(And the tree, miraculously, is still standing!)

What blessings you have this holiday, Jeanie: a beautiful new feline companion AND an upright tree! She's such a good girl! (I'm still trying to screw up the courage to put our Christmas tree up this year given our athletic and adventurous new kitty!)

Someone is ADORABLE!! Those are great pictures! I can't believe Christmas is just a week away. I remember it taking FOREVER to come when I was a child, and now it's almost here. Yikes! I feel ready giftwise, but it doesn't feel like it should be Christmas next week!

Jeannie, one wonders for how long this tree will stand... I don't know but someone is looking mighty mischievous.

She is so sweet, for sure not the same kittie as when you adopted her. Love that first picture alot. Glad the tree is still standing too.

Oh Jeanie, I love the way she is settling in and becoming comfortable with posing and enjoying the camera. Gypsy is working his magic from kitty heaven.

What a sweetie - and how amazing that she's not IN your tree somewhere! Merry Christmas!

These photos could be Christmas cards - especially the first one. I know you are going to enjoy your first Christmas together.

We know the truth, don't we? She's sitting there remembering that Santa Cat is on the way! I wouldn't be surprised is Dixie sent her a copy of the carols - I know she mentioned Lizzie in this year's version of them!

I don't know how far north the snow will get, but it's pretty clear some folks in the midwest are going to get swacked. With luck, you'll have a white Christmas. Maybe we will, too - it's happened once, and I got to see it!

So cute. The first pic is gorgeous and the caption on the last one made me laugh.

Everything looks so peaceful there. Wish I could come over and have a cup of hot chocolate with you.

How very sweet she is. Absolutely delightful.
And such a good girl.

Millie stays away from our tree too, but she is not allowed into the Christmas room on her own, just in case!
