I've been busy getting ready for my annual holiday home show.
In the card category, I have a number of new collaged cards and some photo note card sets of images mostly from Paris.
In the gift category I have some journals -- these are a few of the composition book journals, large size.
I also have lots of smaller ones. The kind that fit in a purse.
Then there are some peat pots, inspiration courtesy of Karla, whose unmatched pots at in the holiday issue of Somerset Life.
And a few birdhouses, too.
Fairy houses. Karla and Beth hooked me on those a couple of years ago when the did a "Bling Your Birdhouse" blog event.
I've been making them ever since!
I'll show you some new knitting soon!
Don't forget, all comments on this post and others this month (by midnight, Thanksgiving night) will be entered into my Thanksgiving drawing for the book "Simple Abundance." And since so many of you have said how much you have enjoyed it, I think I'll be abundant and add something else to the drawing, too. Don't know what yet -- stay tuned!

Hi to handsome Gypsy!
You have been VERY busy! I love all your beautiful creations.
These are just wonderful, my friend -- what a beautiful eye for texture and composition you have! I've always loved your cards and books (and I may be a little bit partial to the Paris journal), but it is fun to see you branching out into more sculptural/theatrical pieces such as the birdhouses and peatpots.
Such a pretty post. I adore all the gorgeous cards and the bird-houses are so unique. What bird wouldn't want to feed from one of those.

Jeanie, have you ever gone to a blog or seen someone's work and it just wanted to make you weep? That is how I felt today when I visited Karla's blog. What a joyful world of art she lives in.
Good luck on your upcoming sale. How long have you been doing it anyway?
I thought I had left a comment, but I guess I didn't. Love Simple Abundance, have read it several times.
Also just simply love all the things you are making for the sale. Good luck with sale and I hope it meets all your goals and delights your customers.

Oh, Jeanie - how fun to "shop" here, seeing all the things you've been doing (and yes, I'm reading backwards in time here since I've missed Blogworld all week...that's another story).
I LOVE the peat pots and fairy houses! egads, you do all sorts of things. As for the notebooks, love the combos and the sizes and this is such fun. Wish I could be at your art fair - I'd make quite the happy fuss over all this...
Honestly, it makes my dabbling in words seem so ...flat though I'm trying, absolutely trying, to spiff up my journals with sketches and altered photos.
You continue to be an awesome inspiration.
your fan,
Oh
