The Five-Minute Snowman Centerpiece

When I was swapping out Santa for Snowfolk I wanted to change up the centerpiece that stays put on the dining table. I'd changed out the runner to one with blue and white snowflakes so I thought a snowman would be perfect. And this one took five minutes.

I'm not even doing step-out pix! You'll need a silvery tray, fairy lights, white batting, bottlebrush tree and a snow person (or more, if you want!)

On the silvery tray (Dollar Tree) I added a string of battery fairy lights.

I added some of the batting I use as a base for my felties on top of that, pulling some of the lights out of the batting.

After placing the snowman in the middle, using tacky wax I added a few bottlebrush tree.

And there you have it -- five minutes (the longest part is fiddling with the lights) and using items on hand.

 And full of winter fun!

Love your snow theme, Jeanie. We put Christmas away yesterday. I miss the tree when I come into the Great Room in the early morning dark.I've been thinking of you.

I really love the look but I'd be paranoid that I'd start a fire with the batting on hot lights. But I don't even use candles for the same reason so there you go, proof that too cautious. With all the batting and fairy lights sold every year that have to be super safe.

Great idea Jeanie, and it looks fun! I went right to Valentine's Day since I don't really have a lot to put out. But I love the idea of having winter decorations! Hope it's a great Saturday! hugs-Erika

I haven't put my snowflake mugs away, but there's always this void between Epiphany and Valentine's Day when everything seems a little lack lustre after Christmas lights are down. What a charming idea, seasonal and keeping the ambience of light going forward.

that is so adorable!! I usually leave my snowmen out til the end of February, but this year I just packed them all away. I have two very very old blinking ones I think they were from Avon, my Mom gave them to us many many years ago. I do enjoy them so much, maybe I will get them back OUT!! HA HA lol

Glad to see that some of us still recognize that it’s winter, Jeanie, and your centerpiece is very seasonal and creatively done. I have been in several store before and recently that have jumped to selling spring items. The local Dollar Tree has seed packets and plastic flowers and nothing related to winter! My snow people are populating the outside of our apt entry and on the window sill of our living room. Now, all we need is some wintry weather.

That's really a cute centerpiece! I need to get some fairy lights, and maybe decorate something! I have some in jars that charge from sunlight, but they are erratic about when they go on and off.

Jeanie, love your snowman - so cheerful. I imagine you have snow. We have about an inch with a few flurries and that is our forecast for the next few days.
Have a great day and let's pray for a peaceful week.

Looks great! We have winter here now with some snow and very icy roads😒. I'm not that fond of it but it lightens up the grey world a bit.
Hope you'll have a nice week coming.

Oh your darling centerpiece made me smile. So cute. And the lights add a layer of brightness. I like using fairy lights during the dark days of winter! I did take notice this evening that it is already staying lighter longer! Yay!

That little centerpiece is too cute, Jeanie. I love snowmen, and we can definitely use them in our decorating way into January, February. I love the red scarf on the snowman. I think that makes it more special. And the bottlebrush trees add a special touch. Wonderful.
