I saw the first bunny of spring this past week -- and the first robins, too. OK, so it's 20 at night. At least there are signs of spring!
Other signs of spring? How about the giant chocolate bunny at our local confectioners?
Evil, hungry squirrels? (OK, not so evil, but annoying!)
Easter baskets?
Easter eggs?
Pretty table linens (Thank you, Rita, for this and more!)?
Pizza with friends?
Birthday celebrations for two?
Springtime table settings?
More bunnies?
Easter egg hunts?
Grandpa time?
Being with my tribe?
Totally unbelievable desserts? (Nigella's chocolate meringue truffle cake)
A Baby Grand celebrating his first Easter dinner with "real" food?
More birthdays?
Hugs?
And more hugs?
We're kind of enjoying this Baby Grand (Well, "kind of" is definitely an understatement!) -- and he seems to like us!
Yes, these are signs of spring ...
... and we're loving it!

$525.00 worth of solid chocolate...I could totally do that!
Great post - I do hope that Spring comes soon for you. Saw on the news this am that there is another snow storm. Hope that it misses you.
We are having nice weather, a little chilly this am, I know I am a sissy.
Have a great week - everything looked wonderful. Stop by and see my signs of Spring on my latest blog.
Hugs,
Mary
Spring or not, you seem to be having a great time! Hugs, Valerie
What a lovely spring and celebration. I had the best time with my family yesterday! Egg hunts, lots of food and snuggles and book reading with the Grands. I am so blessed.
Oh my goodness there's some familiar similarities going on!! Did you shell out the $500 for the giant chocolate bunny? ;) -Jenn
These are great pictures. (I’m currently on the side of squirrels being evil).
As always, your decorations and table are beautiful. I love your spring dishes.
I wonder if anyone bought the 75 pound chocolate bunny? I imagine the logistics of that would be a little complicated. Especially if you have piggy pets like we do.
Why do grandchildren have to grow up, start shaving, then stop and grow whiskers (a beard would be generous), have girlfriends they’d rather spend time with, text ad infiniitum? I think we should arrest their development right around eight years of age!
And I love your post and all of you. So glad it was a happy Easter.
Great collection of signs of spring. I agree with Danielle above. I could do that giant chocolate bunny. How on earth did you take that photo of the table setting? I'm guessing you were standing on a chair?
Can't help but smile at all this fun. You've been a busy lady!
Jeanie, All your pictures prove you have been busy. Busy having fun times with family and friends. The best. Such a sweet little boy. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
I love all those hugs and wish I could get in on some of them! heehee! Looks like a perfect weekend! Sweet hugs, Diane
I like your style...finding Spring everywhere. I laughed at the annoying squirrels. :-) I'm so happy you are back to feeling good again and enjoying the holidays. What a darling grandson you guys have. And I love 'around the table' photos. About that cake...did you save me a piece? I know you have my address. ha!
Liked that huge $525 chocolate bunny . . .
Loved your pictures, family, birthdays, pizza, “little one!”
Happy Easter . . .
All kinds of good stuff today, Jeanie. Did you paint that last picture. I love it!
You have been busy looking for signs of Spring. You found a lot, well done! Happy belated Easter Jeanie. xx
Sooo much SWEET, Jeanie! LOVED these scenes from your Easter... That table cloth with the embroidered pink birds--soo cute? Is that an heirloom, or heirloom find at a flea market, maybe? Your bunny illustration is WONDERFUL!! Lil' C has grown so much--goodness how adorable he is! I was eager to see what dessert you made this year! Nigella Lawson does some awesome dessert recipies, doesn't she?! Oh, and 75 lbs of chocolate bunny--wow... that's...HUGE... LOL! And so is it's price tag--ouch. But good chocolate, does cost. :/ HAPPY EASTER WEEK to you all there :))) ((HUGS))
Jeanie, Baby Grand is so adorable and handsome! Bunnies and robins are definite signs of spring. Your Easter weekend looked like it was so much fun sharing with family and friends! The chocolate dessert looks delicious. Happy Tuesday!
Another delightful holiday spent with Jeanie and family! Thanks for sharing...it's nice to live vicariously. LOL
I think you make a terrific Easter bunny - I never knew the Easter bunny was into organic brown rice! I love learning new trivia! And I love your marbled eggs - beautiful!
Your grandson is also beautiful - what a grand head of blonde hair! I used to have that color hair - now my hair stylist helps me retain it :P.
Squirrels!?! Bah. Rats with pretty tails as far as I'm concerned LOL.
Thanks for sharing your light at the end of the tunnel, Spring-wise!
Sweet sweet post Jeanie..so many celebrations:) Wonderful..family..and friends.
Bébé looks so loved:) And your bunny painting♥
No, no, no! Squirrels are sweet! Squirrels are entertaining and dependable topics of conversation! Squirrels help people find new ways to say, "Thieving, obnoxious little bandit!"
Any Easter that allows for both pizza and an egg hunt's a good one. I'm glad your day was so great!
Enjoyed all the family pics! So cute! And squirrels ARE evil. I hate them. They shred my gazebo screens almost every summer. BUT, it is nice to see and hear the Robins. Love waking up now and hearing birds singing! We are supposed to have snow tomorrow. Ugggggg....
Jeanie, I enjoyed strolling through your happy spring photos. We are a little further along than you, our azaleas and the dogwood blooming. We usually have bunnies in the beds but I haven't seen them, only the screeching they do along with the squirrels . Leaves mulch on the walkway so it looks messy. Yes, spring so I'm not complaining. Your baby grand is fast growing into a little boy. He is a doll..........Have a great week.
I did enjoy all these signs of Spring.. It give us snowy lands the HOPE of Spring.. We still have 6 foot drift , but the sun is shining so that’s a plus...Your post shows a HAPPY Happy Easter with your family and adorable grandson.. What a cutie... I bet there’s no chocolate left ( ha Ha)...Have a super week !!..Hugs
Oh Jeanie, your pictures always make my heart sing. And your grandbaby sure is a cutie. I know the feeling of wanting to spend special time with him. I love your painting, and it looks perfect for Spring. The chocolate truffle cake looks amazing. Yes, Spring has arrived here too! : )
~Sheri
What cuteness overload!😊 Now that I see that chocolate, I'm going to have a piece of chocolate bunny. At 9:30 in the morning. Before breakfast. For breakfast. With tea. Don't tell my husband!
Yes, Jeanie, wonderful signs of spring, even though Mother Nature continues to tease us.
Baby Grand is so handsome! So happy to see your joie de vivre!
(And thank you for the shout out. I love your table!)
Seventy five pounds of chocolate might be too much!
Looks like you had a fantastic Easter. Baby Grand is just adorable, especially in that photo of you with him. Your post feels like spring and you did a great job of making your home feel that way. Hope your sun is back and the snow has melted. Hugs-Erika
That Baby Grand is such a cutie!
What wonderful signs of Spring. Especially getting lots of hugs! Oh and pizza too!
I love all these happy happy Easter and spring pictures! Very full of family and love, it shines through loud and clear!
Jeanie: A baby grand! Aren't they wonderful? And so cute. He looks alot cleaner than mine did with his first encounter with real food. Happy Birthday to all and have a great week. Love your bunny painting..xxoJudy
You have a lot of Spring going on there! Great pictures, fun post. That last bunny picture is adorable....did you draw it?
Hi Jeanie! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and commenting. I am pleased to meet you. What a sweet spring post. And I can not believe my eyes with that giant chocolate bunny! I'm afraid that if I bit him, he'd bite me back!
Wonderful glimpses of your sweet Easter.
The pizza looks yum.
Such a dear painting at the end.
My squirrels have learned to climb the pole my feeders hang on. This morning it was so icy that the squirrel would get 2/3 way up and then slide on down, over and over again. Then it licked it's paws and was able to climb right up. Pretty clever.
Jeanie, what a beautiful post! And your "annoying" squirrel looks far too well fed to be bothering your bird feeders - shoo!
Squirrels are so cute....on someone else's property:)
Oh, yes, signs of Spring bring joy to all our hearts.
Baby Grand is so adorable.
Looks like a great time! WOW.....that is one costly bunny! I think by the time I got finished with that I would sick and tired of chocolate! haha....the pie sounds great.
Greetings My Friend!
Jeanie, this grandbaby has the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes!!! He is such a handsome/darling baby boy!
I love how the light is streaming in during the pizza making process and naturally I love the pizza too.
Such a delightful post Jeanie, filled to the brim with the true joys of life; family, friends, food and dessert!
Jemma
Got any of that pizza left? If so I'll be right over.
It's so nice to see the signs of spring in your neck of the woods. I love when you post about all the celebrations and activities you enjoy with your friends and family!
These are all wonderful signs of spring! Our squirrels love to visit the bird feeders, too. Now I have a caged feeder for the smaller birds and a regular one for everyone else, including the squirrels... It seems that everybody is happy now.
75 pounds of chocolate? Oh my...
Pretty spring time table and fun family photos. You have a beautiful family!
I've seen those large chocolate bunnies at a grocery here in Austin. Who buys those? 😋
Happy Spring!
Easter seems like a world away for me now, although I was still home then. Now settling into rural andd remote india for 3 weeks, theres no spring here... just hot, hot & hot. Your easter celebrations look gorgeously colourful & generous. I hope you get your spring soon,
Yes, these are wonderful signs of spring! That baby grand is precious, and I love that bunny chocolate mold. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
So many lovely things, Jeanie, from that cute rabbit to your table and happy family. You are welcoming spring in style.

xo
Baby Grand is a doll. He is at such a great age. And it just gets better as he gets older and more interactive!!
I have to look really hard for signs of spring. There is snow everywhere I look and we might get 3-7” more tonight. We got 10” earlier this week. Sooo depressing. I was hoping the weather would be nice enough on Paul’s baptism that people could hang out on our deck. But we will definitely still have snow. It’s going to be cramped in our house with 18 people but oh well! I know everyone will understand and people probably won’t stay too long. ;)
Wonderful. It looks like you had a fantastic Easter. Thank you for linking to Keep In Touch.
Looks like Spring is being good to you, Jeanie! How fast he has grown from a tiny babe into a toddler. it doesn't seem that fast when you're experiencing it, I know, but how wonderful new life is. Pizza with friends sounds like a lovely idea - you all look so happy! I'm on a diet kick now so I would be reluctantly passing on the beautiful Nigella dessert... sigh... still, it's nice to imagine....
Lovely post Jeanie.
Your little grand son is just adorable. I am sure it must be such a special time for him to experience his first Easter and to have you along. We had a strange first Easter here in NY. The weather was really off and everything was so different from what we were used to. But I guess it is time to make some new traditions. Happy Belated Easter Jeanie!
Glad you're starting to see signs of Spring.
I really like the way you've decorated your Easter Eggs! They're so colorful!
I'm not decorating Eggs right now, I haven't done this since I finished junior high school!
And my daughter made it in daycare, so we actually missed this tradition this year too. But I should think about returning to this. Maja loves to make some creative things and this one is actually quite easy for her I think.
How did you make these pastel colors? :)
I also saw few rabbits here! I'm living close to the forest, so there is a lot of animals nearby. Sometimes I'm afraid of them, boar can be dangerous, especially when there are piglets too.
