I couldn't resist.
It is Halloween, after all! Or almost. (And for those who asked, alas, no radiation mask for Halloween. My treatments were already to go till November 3 and then last week they gave me a "radiation vacation" because of the swelling, cracking and peeling of the lip. Well, it gives me a whole year to jazz it up for next time! And thanks for asking.)
On another note, as most of you know, I try to reply personally by email to comments you leave (sometimes more promptly than others!) and if you are a no-reply blogger but do have a blog, I'll try that route if I have no email contact for you.
But for some of you -- and right now I'm thinking of Sharon in Las Cruces, Carolyn from Detroit and Naomi here in Lansing -- please don't think that your comments are going unappreciated or unheeded. I value your visits, ideas and thoughts and I wish I knew how to reach you to say thanks!
Now, let's eat candy!

Hello, Jeanie
It is great you are getting a radiation vacation. I am sure you welcome the break. Your kitty is adorable. You are great, emailing replies to comments. I try to keep up with emails or give my thanks to my blogging friends with a thank you on their blog on my blog. Happy Halloween.
Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
What a sweet pic. I love it! Enjoy your week, dear Jeanie.
Aw, your kitty kat looks cool in the costume. I hope you are happy about your radiation vacation and that they will be ready to help you when you next expect it. You do a wonderful job of replying to blogger comments. I'm sure those that don't have a way of being contacted understand you can't contact them but it was lovely of you to mention them anyway. Hugs. xx
Now that is one elegant cat, wow! Enjoy your radiation break, happy Halloween, have fun. Hugs, Valerie
Cute! You're very good, Jeanie. I'm afraid I can't reply to every comment, or visit blogs as often as I'd like. Which means I've missed hearing that you're having radiation - you take care!! I always reply to direct questions and to people who haven't commented on A Bit About Britain before, but otherwise have to be reasonably selective. Have a suitably spirited Halloween!
Lizzie is the ULTIMATE Dracula. LOVE it.
I have a couple of people I would love to thank, too, so I think your way may just be the right way. BTW, some of us have very specific reasons why we are no-reply bloggers. I've always believed if I can't say it in front of the world, it doesn't need to be, and probably shouldn't be said.
What a cute little costume you put on your cat. The red bowtie is striking. She's looking so intellectual in the second one. : ) Thinking of you and what you're going through right now, Jeanie, and sending a comforting hug.

Oh my...I was SO scared by this scary cat! heheehee! And I love that last photo..is it a little bag? So cute! Enjoy your afternoon my friend.
Kitty looks so cute, such a beautiful cat.
So glad that your radiation is delayed for a while.
Enjoy your week and have fun. Don't eat to much candy.
Hugs,
Mary
I've missed it here so.
And, oh dear, it looks as if I've got some serious
catching up to do over here.
Radiation mask.....I must read back and see.
Sending love and much, much care.
Big tenderness to you,
Jennifer
I don't know if it's a good thin to get a radiation vacation or not, but sorry to hear about your lip. It sounds like it might be a bit uncomfortable. :( Does Lizzie like getting dolled up for Halloween? My animals have never been patient enough for that. Happy Halloween. Hugs-Erika
Ahhh, sweet Lizzy! Wishing I could put a costume on Joey, but alas he wouldn't speak to me for the rest of the week. Happy Halloween and hope your lip is healing just fine!!!
I do hope your treatments are going well, not painful? That is one patient cat you have. I don't think either of ours would let us dress them up. Do you get many trick-or-treaters? It would be a shame if you had to eat leftover candy!! -Jenn
beautiful beautiful kitty!--and YES!!-let's go EAT CANDY! lol wHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE? i'M kind of craving chocolate.......
VERY glad you'll have no mask for Halloween, Jeanie... Glad all is going OK, mostly... Hope the break will help. How cute is lil' Miss Lizzie gussied up for tricks or treats day!! Wishing you all a Spooktacular Halloween! ((HUGS))
Lizzie looks very imposing and elegant. Hope the radiation caused cracking and peeling doesn't interfere with Halloween candy eating.
Your Phantom is a total ham, lol!
Ouch, I'm sorry your lip is reacting so fiercely, but glad you got a break. My Mr. has just finished a month of treating a couple places on his face and they are terribly cracked, bloody and peeling. My prescription for all of us? Candy!!
Glad you're getting a bit of a break from the treatment.
Happy Halloween... Enjoy your candy!
Sharon in Las Cruces here. I have a google account.
I have a gmail address. I a researching to try to find the way that I would receive your comments to my comments to you.
Love your enthusiasm for all the holidays. Your decorating is so inventive and uses all your favorite things. Your spirit of fun is infectious!!!!!
trying some things to allow your comments to get to me. Sharon In LCruces.
Oh Jeanie, thank you for updating us...you are in my thoughts sweet lady! Your Phantom is too cute! I still miss my Oreo! I agree with Rita, let’s all eat candy!
Oh dear Jeanie, I know you were looking forward to knocking all those treatments out and be done. Taking a break will give you time to catch your breath and then you can resume your treatment and know it's almost over. Love Lizzie, how can we not want to enjoy seeing fur babies all dressed for Halloween. Sorry about the set back and hope the swelling is better. Hope you and Lizzie enjoy the day......Hugs
Dear Jeanie, swelling, cracking and peeling of your pore lip does not sound good. I really hope the radiation vacation does the trick.
I know just what you mean about not being able to contact people to thank them for leaving comments. I worry about it too, but I do try to reply to every comment on my blog and just hope some (most?) people see the replies.
Happy Halloween, hugs Barbara
Ouch - the swelling and cracking does not sound good! I hope it calms down soon so you can get these treatments over with for good!
We hosted some friends for a pumpkin carving party last night. We do it every year - it's such a fun tradition! As usual, we carved a cat in our pumpkin. Phil did all the work as I was dealing with the tail end of flare so I opted for the easier/less physical task of making chili! Our pumpkins turned out cute. Oscar did NOT appreciate the company, though, as she is terrified of strangers, especially kids. There were 2 2-year old so she ran upstairs the minute they arrived and didn't come down until everyone left!
I'm glad you could take a little break from the treatment, Jeanie. Hopefully that helped with the side-effects. Lizzie, the little vampire lady looks so cute!
Hugs and love,
Julia
Oh that kitty, what a face! teeehhhe....I hope your evening was magical dearest Jeanie!
I think I don't like disguising animals... I think it's nagging them :( When I see all these instagram photos with animals in strange clothes I'm pissed :( A lot of them hate it! But sometimes animals are ok with putting clothes on them , I hope that your cat likes it. My cats would probably eat me if I try to put some costume on them! :D
I really like the bag you shared on the last photo! :)
