Happy Easter to you my friend! I do love these nostalgic photos, so fun! Brings back so many memories.....we lived in a whole different world back then, didn't we?
You always have such great photos of your childhood, Jeanie! I remember these days, the jellybeans, the one large chocolate bunny and the plastic pink grass, the little eggs you'd open up, the egg hunt at my Auntie's house....and now? The anticipation of the sunrise, the hope of eternal love. HAPPY EASTER!
Love the pics..I don't remember a thing except gigantic bunnies with some coloring on the chocolate that tasted so different. It stayed in my closet till I ate it all..oh lala...
And not just baskets! Somewhere I have the photo of me holding the big, pink bunny I found in the oven. Unlike the chocolate and candy eggs, it lasted for years! Happy Easter!
I found an old photo of my Mom, brother and I all dressed up for Easter, made me smile. I'm so blessed to have my church family to celebrate with this morning, then my daugther, sil and grands to join Mom and I for a meal, egg hunting, basket fun and so much love and thankfulness!
These pictures are treasures, indeed. Your mother really spent time taking all these pictures when you were little. I have only a handful of black and whites, and oh do I ever cherish them. : ) What special memories we have of our childhoods, Jeanie.
Happy Monday, Jeanie! you have so many wonderful pictures from childhood. I know your Easter was filled with family and good food! Have a joy-filled week, my friend!
I loved getting Easter baskets! My favorite was the year my mom hid them and we had to follow a series of clues to find them. I look forward to doing things like that when Paul is older! I hope you had a Happy Easter. Loved the pictures of Baby Grand. He has the best eyes!!
