Do you need a super-fast spring centerpiece, perfect for your Easter table? Here's one idea!
Take your favorite basket -- I chose a long, skinny basket to go on my fairly small, oblong dining table). Pick a small plant for the center of the basket. This ranunculous was perfect.
Surround the plant with shred or moss. Place small bunnies and/or decorative eggs around the plant.
I was happy to use my Pendelfin bunnies -- or at least a couple of them. They are "favorite friends" but when I set up the whole "scene," with their bunny house, it takes a lot of room so I decided to give it a break last year. (Here's what it looked like last year!)
This little guy might be my favorite. But I'd be having big eyes if I woke up to eggs almost as big as me!
Isn't it fun to bring out the spring things?
Happy Easter Decorating!

ReplyDeleteSo cute. So simple and quick.
ReplyDeleteVery creative!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet.
ReplyDeleteIt is very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThese bunnies are super cute!
This makes me so happy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Oh, and that little piano-"man"... they´re all cute :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Jeanie, as always you come up with such clever ideas. I had to laugh, though. I don't have any decorator eggs, no flowering plants, and no adorable bunnies. I DO have a long (wicker) basket and shredded paper, though (grin)!!
ReplyDeleteLovely centrepiece, great idea. I won't be decorating anything this year, but perhaps next time! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI love ranunculus, and yours is a perfect choice.
ReplyDeleteHello Jeanie,
ReplyDeleteYou made it all look so easy, I love your cute Easter decorations.
Very pretty centerpiece! Take care, enjoy your day!
Very charming.
ReplyDeleteWoven baskets are such a cool item! Whether for decoration, gifts, or storage - they always do a perfect job.
ReplyDeleteYour combination of plant, bunnies and eggs to welcome Easter, is a great idea!
It will not surprise you, Jeanie, that an easter centrepiece, quick, easy, simple, or of any other kind, is high on my list of things to do!
ReplyDeleteFun! So cute! You are great about making the table extra special for meals and celebrations. It’s hard to believe Easter is just over a week away. I am excited that we will have a family member with us for the first holiday since Christmas of 2019! Joan will be with us. We are also tackling potty training that weekend so I have mixed feelings about the holiday but it will still be a good one.
ReplyDeleteAdorable
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteJeanie, the bunnies are adorable! I think my love of bunnies has multiplied, I have them everywhere. The ranunculus is gorgeous, one of my favorite flowers. You created a beautiful centerpiece! Happy Thursday, friend.
ReplyDeleteNot only am I lacking in "spring things," I don't even have a basket.
ReplyDeleteAh, well. I have all outdoors!
A lovely spring centerpiece. I meant to get some flowers at the grocery yesterday and forgot. I do have a couple of spring pieces I need to feature for the season, though.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet and cheerful centerpiece, Jeanie. I love it and your bunnies. Spring is not only a time of hope and renewal, it is a time of fun and happy things. Have a great weekend, my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou created a beautiful table and I love the flowers.
ReplyDeleteYour bunnies are so adorable! If I had them, they would be part of my centerpiece, too!
ReplyDeleteVery nice spring festive. The yellow flower sets is off perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea, baskets, flowers and/or bunnies. You do have a darling collection to Pendelfin bunnies Jeanie. Thanks for sharing your centerpiece idea, I may have to borrow it.......
ReplyDeleteThose are the cutest bunny plates, Jeanie, and I've always loved those Pendelfin bunnies that you have. Your yellow ranunculous is so pretty for Spring. A cheerful color to brighten the house. In my garden at the old house, I first planted ranunculous, but I was bummed out that they didn't last long. The only thing that blooms for me are ROSES! haha. I don't know which bunny is my favorite of yours, but that one peeking out his covers wide-eyed is a keeper. ; )

ReplyDeleteLove your Bunnies...I bought a bunch of them and a few houses one time at a yard sale and sold them at a co op for triple what I paid for them...They are very heavy...Thanks so much for stopping by again!!
ReplyDeleteStay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
That bunny in bed hiding from the ladybug is precious. You certainly go all out for Easter gatherings. Looks like much fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet centerpiece Jeanie, love your little bunnies :)
ReplyDeleteHow did I get so behind? This basket is adorable. And such good ideas Jeanie! Happy Friday. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteDelightful. It makes me feel lighter somehow just to see your spring decorations.
ReplyDeleteADORABLE.....thinking outside the .....basket!
ReplyDeleteYellow goes with Easter, so I was happy to see your centerpiece. The eggs are awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe bunnies are very cute, Jeanie, and I was not familiar with Pendelfin bunnies and think they might be collectibles like the Boyds bears figures we have. Thanks too for the centerpiece tips and yours looked very "springy" which is much needed now.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are already for Easter!
ReplyDeleteLovely centerpiece with yellow. Yellow is always cheery.
Enjoy your days getting ready for Easter!
Adorable Jeanine, I love ranunculus!
ReplyDeleteOh Jeanie, this is such a sweet centerpiece. Looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice looking centre-piece, and all those bunnies are just so cute.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Your sense of Easter joy is palpable as seen through your photos! And could it possibly be that sense of liberation with being vaccinated that gives an extra boost this year?! I love it all!
ReplyDeleteI love the centerpiece and also the bunny plates next to the centerpiece. What fun! You inspire me!
