Feeling a little springy? It's time to "Get Happy" with Judy! (Cue the Music)
When it comes to spring in my house, it's all about the bunny!
Especially as Easter draws near!
There's a little bit of bunny in every room of the house. Standing at the sink is more fun when you're with the bunnies!
And isn't this little tray cute? A new purchase this year. I'm trying really hard to avoid too much shopping but I couldn't resist this one!
Well, OK, I did cave and buy one new bunny... I could not resist him, either!
It's time to bring out the little peat pots made in years past and pair them with bunny favorites!
And time for the Bunnykins mug, too!
Here's the overall look, atop the china cabinet.
And inside another cabinet -- bunnies on parade.
I love these guys!
Of course there is an egg tree. (Actually there are two and other eggs pop up elsewhere!) Some of the eggs here were purchased or gifts, but my favorites go back more than 45 years, crafting with my mom.
You might see a few repeaters here. I do. Not to mention the china cabinet. I am so glad I am not at that stage anymore. Junior high is hell. But my arms looked pretty good back then. I can't remember when I had the guts to wear sleeveless in public!
Little spots in my house make me happy.
So, as Judy sings, "forget your troubles, c'mon get happy!"
And don't forget -- be nice to the bunny. Baskets might be involved!
It's almost officially spring!

Hi Jeanie! Finally, we are having some very springlike weather. I think we'll eat lunch at the park. Your bunnies are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have a huge smile on my face Jeanie, your post is lovely and your bunnies are adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post. I have never seen so many bunnies together. Just gorgeous. Thanks for the smile. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI do love bunnies! It was all I could do to resist buying more at Home Goods this week. The bunny trays were calling to me. Cleaning my house doesn't work if I go buy more, maybe another time. Love all your bunnies and the egg tree too.
ReplyDeleteI have a thing for bunnies, too. Who couldn't love a bunny? I can't even choose a favorite here, they're all so cute. Happy Spring!! Early, I know, but it's almost here.

ReplyDeleteAnd so be it.
You look the same..same happy happy face!
I have a similar new purchase to the one you have that looks like a vintage mold:)
I am certain your home has such a great ZEN:)
I just want to ooooohhhh and ahhhhhh with every bunny I see! And you've even made sure there are treats for the bun buns! I see some leafy lettuce in a mug! Very cute, in every room. It makes me want to do more! Bunny hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteYou have an amazing bunny collection! They are sweet and cute and more than anything, they scream spring. Right now I need a whole house full of bunnies myself. But you did remind me to put out the 2 I do have. I don't know which adorable ones I like the most because they are all so sweet. "bunny" hugs to you and those cuties-Erika
ReplyDeleteWhat cute bunnies! I have to take some photos and share them on my blog. I too love my bunnies. Spring!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post, Jeanie! I love bunnies, especially old-fashioned looking ones wearing clothes. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteI apologize for being late. I'm still having trouble with my internet. I knew it wouldn't be long till you brought out your bunny collection. I always love it when you decorate for Easter. These are always so much fun to see and I simply adore that new platter. I always like it when you decorate for a specific holiday. This is no exception.
ReplyDeleteHi Jeanie We're not quite entering into the same bunnymania at our place, far from it, in fact we don't even get any holidays :( We had to even work out when Easter was this year. So it's been great to stop by and get into the Easter spirit, your rabbits are charming!
ReplyDeleteNow in case I forget Happy Easter!
Wren x
Hi Jeanie, I love your cute Spring decorations. All the bunnies are just adorable. You have a cute bunny collection. I saw a real bunny in my yard yesterday, it ran fast. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a happy post Jeanie. I love the bunny collection and all your spring decor. Sweet pic of you and the Easter egg tree. Isn’t the thought of spring wonderful! Happy day.
ReplyDeleteWe are usually greeted by the Easter Bunny in our garden! I kid you not; some of the first sightings occur right on Easter as we look out the window and TADAH, there he is!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the refreshing power of spring my dear!
Well, you certainly do up Easter right! The bunnies are all charming - but I'm crazy about your egg tree! And how terrific to have them as memories of crafting with your mom! (I can't IMAGINE my mother sitting down and crafting LOL.)
ReplyDeleteI received a delightful gift this week - a vintage Alice in Wonderland tea set with lots of White Rabbit features on it - including on the butter dish and on the teapot, as well as one of the salt/peppers and the creamer. They are going to be my sole Easter display LOL.
Have a marvelous day - thanks for sharing!
P.S. I had to smile at your comment about wearing sleeveless in public - LOL - I haven't worn a skinny-fit shirt tucked in for thirty years LOL.
I can see why your bunnies make you happy. They are adorable.
ReplyDeleteYou have lots of cute little bunnies. Love the bunnies and the song.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to do my girl style push-ups!
I love all your bunnies, Jeanie. You have a great collection. It must be fun to bring them out every year. It's like welcoming old friends back into your home. Happy Easter! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThe two rabbits with the really big carrot are my favs. There's nothing like a bunny to make a girl smile -- with so many around, you must be smiling all the time!
ReplyDeleteAll those bunnies make me happy too, Jeanie. I must say, though, when I cued the music, I had to watch the entire video - that choreography!
ReplyDeleteYour "Bunny Hutch" is absolutely enchanting. The bunny chocolate molds are beautiful. My favorite is your tree...such special memories. Happy Almost Spring to You. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that you decorate your house for every occasion Jeanie.
ReplyDeleteLove your egg tree and it's precious that you have eggs from your youth.
The bunny tray and the rose bunny are just so cute.
Enjoy Spring.
Okay, I thought I had a lot of bunnies!! You have a great collection. I haven't even put all of mine out yet because there is still so much snow on the ground. Then I realized that now is the time to be decorating for Easter as it will be here in two weeks. I am sure they are all ready to come out of hiding :-)
ReplyDeleteJeanie, I love all your bunnies. There is just something so cute about a bunny! Even when it isn't Easter time. I love that platter, I would have bought one too, if I had seen it. Keep getting happy and have a good weekend..Judy
ReplyDeleteJeanie, I am all smiles...what a happy post! I love bunnies and you have a fabulous collection. I could not possibly pick a favorite, they are unique with their own personalities. What a cute junior high pic, and fun egg trees!
ReplyDeleteHow could these bunnies not make you happy? Love each and every one!! I almost bought a bunny chocolate mold in Texas, but at the last minute I changed it to a lamb. I love them too and will keep it out year round in my farmhouse style basement. :)
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
That mug is just too cute. Very sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a fabulous collection of bunnies, Jeanie! I bought one in the dollar section at Target this year, but I really don't have room to keep storing everything I keep buying. I'm going to have to downsize again if I keep this up. LOL :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the “bunny smiles” . . .
ReplyDeleteI brought out mine yesterday too . . .
I guess I better get some pictures . . .
I have many Bunnykins pieces . . .
It was all the rage when my children were born,
especially with my son Scott, born in 1964 . . .
I remember him sitting in his high chair,
Bunnykins bowl and cup on the tray . . .
eating his “pablum.”
No worry about him tossing that pottery on the floor with a crash . . .
He must have known it was a treasure.
Thank you for inspiring to get busy with some pictures!
Oh my...spring has sprung at your house. It all looks so good.
ReplyDeleteThings are really hopping over at your house! Love all your bunnies and all the joy of Spring they bring, happy days.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the shot of spring, Jeanie... and bit of Judy to lift things even more! How adorable are those singing bunnies at the top!! Wow... I don't think I've ever seen so much Easter or bunnies in one home! I love how you decorated for Easter/spring like you do for Christmas--every room gets anointed with seasonal beauty and touches of fun, whimsy. And fun to see you form High School. I think you look very much the same too--beautiful! You inspire! :))) ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteOh Jeanie.. your bunnies are positively precious. I keep my bunnies out all year long. Hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with Irish luck.
ReplyDeleteLove your seasonal decor and celebration of each season and holiday! This post lifted my spirits and made my day!
ReplyDeleteSweet!!! Jeanie, all of your bunnies are sooo adorable! I pinned a bunch of photos to my Holidays, Crafts to Make and Lovely China boards for you. <3 Love your chinzware!!! I need to get my rabbits out... found a really cute rabbit mold at High Point Market for $12, I think. Tired, happy, and kinda taking a break this week ~ must be spring fever. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday to you!
Barb :)
Horay for bunnies!
ReplyDeleteBeatrix Potter would have approved. ;)
Jeanie, what a collection and what a delightful way to ease the whatever of standing at the sink! :D I live with bunnies year round because a corner of our family room is devoted to Peter Rabbit.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it is bunny heaven! You have such a sweet collection! Love the egg tree, too, and your adorable photo. xx Karen
ReplyDeleteHaha I totally don't feel the summer right now! We have just returned from Taipei and here is -9 Celsius degrees in Warsaw! And it's snowing! We can go outside and make a snowman! But Maja is sick, so actually we can't go :(
ReplyDeleteIt's not a lot of time for Easter left. I was thinking about making some ornaments etc, but I have no idea what should I make. I have a lot of napkins so I don't need to make more. And the same with wooden eggs, rabbits, small chickens and sheeps.
Maybe I'll just make some springy postcards for my penpals :) It's kind of creative I feel :)
Love your bunny collection and I bet you could still go sleeveless. Bunnies all around just bring a smile onto your face.
ReplyDeleteThat garden is beautiful! The bridge is like something out of a children's book. It's all so whimsical and lovely. Can't wait for spring weather to hit Ohio!
ReplyDeleteHow cute!Great collection!Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteIt's bunny heaven at your house, and I am loving every one. Spring is my favorite season, and Easter is my favorite holiday.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday, Jeanie. Thank you for sharing and for making Pink Saturdays special. This post is being featured on my Pink Saturday post this week as "the one with the most clicks". Everyone loved your Spring fling.♥
Your bunnies are awesome; I liked your Easter egg tree. When my kids (36 and 34 now) were little I'd make one I'd cut off a few alder branches 3-ish weeks before Easter--back then I made little tissue apple blossoms and glued them on, later used silk dogwoods. Stuck in a large pot of damp soil, the branches would leaf out in time for Easter and add to the ambiance of spring. By the time they wilted, it was time to take the tree down. Still have some of those eggs, too! Great memories!
ReplyDeleteHappy spring. Adorable post. Thanks for linking up to Keep In Touch.
