Gardenviews -- Pink, Green and More!

Long ago I took you to Gardenviews, one of my favorite stores, during the Christmas holidays. Well, we were ready for a road trip on Saturday, so off we went to see what they had for spring! (Check out a nice review of the store HERE)

This store, located in Northville, MI, has the best buyers ever! And the people who do their displays are pretty terrific, too. I loved this one, with splashes of yellow and orange.

There was plenty of pink and green too. I loved all of their faux flowers -- they are better than any others I've ever seen.

I'm not sure which I loved most here -- the flowers or the painted wood behind them!

One of the store employees said that they refused to buy a certain kind this year (tulips, in particular), despite their popularity, because they weren't quite real enough. I loved the peonies -- and no ants! (These came home with me!)

Their outdoor garden ornaments are terrific.

I loved the peacock feathers and bought a few of those to play with, too!

Signs? Well, I adored the Eiffel Tower hanging...

...and this is my motto these days!

I'm getting very excited about our upcoming trip to Paris...

...so I couldn't resist a travel journal!

A perfect day to visit -- if you're in the neighborhood, check it out!

You won't be disappointed!

This post is part of Beverly's PINK SATURDAY -- Link over after 3 on Friday to see who else is in the pink (and green!) this week!

  6. I just want to say, I love your blog. I and my family love cats. Some would say we have one or two to many. They get lots of love and care. We even have a big orange one like yours. (His name is Pumpkin) our neighbor brought him to us in October. Besides your darling header, I love the look of your whole blog.

  12. What a fun looking place! Your pictures are great. The weather here in the Hudson Valley is a bit cold and drab still. I get my flower fix by looking through my gardening books. Have a great day.

  18. When I was working with my mom's autograph albums, I learned her grade school's colors were pink and green. That may help to explain her fondness for watermelon glass - the elegant glassware that combine, for example, pink bowls and green stems. I still have a set of watermelon glass wine goblets, although I've sold most of it (and broke a lemonade pitcher, to my chagrin - have to watch those applied handles!)

I like the pink and green combination very much, but I can live only with greens. Maybe I had too much pink in my childhood!

  21. I just love floral shops such as this one. Just like bookstores, they seem to be disappearing from the landscape these days. Have you noticed that?

You will love having that journal on your trip. How fun.

  22. Scrumptious, ahhh. And Paris! I'd love to be there now.
