Today's Autumn Image takes us a wee bit closer to Thanksgiving!
The other night I had a great experience at work (I don't say that often!). We are recording a series of musical concerts for a new series called "BackStage Pass."
I remember how much fun it was to go into the studio when Freddie was hanging lights high near the ceiling. He'd be singing as he worked and it was glorious -- if angels sang the blues, it would be Freddie leading the pack!
And I have to say, a good time was had by all -- especially me!
It'll be awhile before this one hits our air, but if you love the blues, visit their website and check it out. And if they're playing in a spot near you (they go everywhere!) don't miss 'em!
How cool! You got some good pictures! Wish I could say the same about work! :)
ReplyDeleteLucky you to have a back stage pass to some live blues!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see Freddie doing so well!!!! What a great show for WKAR to produce, and what a great band!

You have an awesome job in terms of creativity and meeting and being with people - rock on!
ReplyDeleteIt's cool to have known someone when they weren't known by anyone and are now....
ReplyDeleteHow much fun! There you are, on the scene, getting to enjoy great music - and knowing the lead singer! I adore the blues, so will check them out.
ReplyDeleteI bet it was wonderful! In Atlanta, I watched several programs on public TV about different years in British history. One was after WWII, one was in the 60s and one was in 83 (I think). I miss having good public programming. Nashville is horrible. So whenever I travel, I turn it on to see what I can watch! It was so much fun.
