Sunday -- more antiques!

Today's Autumn Image is another from the bakeryin Niagara-on-the-Lake!
Today was our day for shopping -- I was introduced to Costco, went to the grocery store (I love buying groceries in other places!) and just kicked around. It started out with seeing this beautiful heron on Lake Ontario, a couple blocks from the house.

Kicking around included more antiquing at the same site we were at before. More vendors were there for the weekend. This time Jim was the lucky one.

I, on the other hand, was captivated by this calico cat.
I couldn't stop taking pictures of her!

I couldn't resist walking across the Suzanne's yard and road to the beautiful Lake Ontario. What a view!

After dinner, we watched videos from Jim and Suzanne's Russia trip and then Suz and I did belated birthdays (May and August -- very belated!)

I was lucky to receive lovely gifts from the trip to Russia! This Santa and snowman fit into the tree...

...and the egg is reminiscent of the Faberge eggs...

(as is the stunning scarf!) It was hard to go to sleep, knowing the next day I'd hit the road!

On Monday, we took more pictures -- Suzanne and Jim...

Suzanne and me...

...the lake (it was very windy)
... and then off, arriving home after stops at Ikea and Trader Joe's. And definitely not ready for work! But filled with joy and grand memories.

At this point I should fill you in on a conversation Suzanne and I had before my visit. She said she was worried (and getting teased by Jim) -- she wanted to be sure to have "blog-worthy" activities during my stay!

How do you think she did?

Thanks for indulging me by hanging out on my mini-vacation with me!
