So, in my last post I was talking about three things that gave me joy. Blog buddy David reminded me in no uncertain terms that I was leaving out a big one!
And he was right!
So, here's to Rick, with all the joy I have for helping to keep me sane and content during lockdown. Trust me, his job isn't always an easy one!
But it does come with benefits!
Cheers to Rick for being your rock! You're lucky to have someone who's there for you! Stay safe, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of good wishes your way.
All the best Jan
Very sweet!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I've heard this song, but I've never seen the video ~ Too fun!
ReplyDeleteCheers to Rick :)
That's such a nice post, Jeanie! And well done Rick!
ReplyDeleteNice post Jeanie. Cheers to you both :-)
ReplyDeleteThat was always an obvious given about Rick giving you great joy in your life. I knew you meant things that give you joy beyond the love of your life.
ReplyDeleteAgree with David!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your lovely day, Jeanie :)
That is great you have each other.
ReplyDeleteGood point. And nice photos today too. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie
ReplyDeleteWhat a performer! The perfect joyful gift for Rick.
ReplyDeleteI love the energy of this post. And that he is your rock.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your sweetie is on the list of joys, Jeanie! Glad to see him in the spotlight.
ReplyDeleteWell, of course!
ReplyDelete(I hope no one was worried about that.)
Great pictures -- great joy here, always.
YES! To our men! And that song!
ReplyDeleteAnd no worries, no one is easy all the time to be with ;-)
Oh Jeanie this is such a very sweet and heart-felt post! A toast to Rick for being your strength in this time of Covid, and let me also start a toast for you who is one of the few blogpals I have that keeps me sane and away from too much worry in my time of lockdown.
ReplyDeleteStevenson
I am very happy to see that Rick, a knight whose shining armour is ever burnished, has received his full due!
ReplyDeleteOur BFFs for sure!!
ReplyDeleteCheers to Rick! It is certainly a gift to have someone who brings you joy, especially when the world is upside down. May both of you continue to stay well and enjoy life.
ReplyDeleteLove the song Jeannie! I, like you, am very lucky that I have a special someone to enjoy this isolation with. I feel for those who are on their own. Love and hugs and stay safe wishes! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of Rick! Love that song! Rick is your JOY!
Take care! Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend!
Well that goes without saying but it's always nice to say it out loud! Sweet pics of you both. Love that song........Tell Rick I feel like he's a good friend just like you are and how much sharing posts helps with quarantine! Stay well you two.......
ReplyDeleteLove seeing you two together and the pure joy you both truly exude!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
jemma
Good morning Jeanie!
ReplyDeleteAin't misbehavin' is what's going on over here too! I can't get into any fun mischief being (fortunately) employed from home all day. I need to get up once in a while to look out the window and simply dream of playing with friends in exploring photography or just hanging out!
That is one fun video!
Together, yet apart. Apart, yet together. A joyous post, dear Jeanie and a wonderful tribute to Rick.
ReplyDeleteSweet sweet and so glad Rick ain't misbehavin'. Or...could it be little ole you who ain't misbehavin'? :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

ReplyDeleteMy bad -- when moderating I accidentally hit delete not publish! Sorry!
Cheers to you and Rick, Jeanie (can't you see the wine glass?) It's good to know you are both doing well and sharing together and keep on doing so. Everyone needs someone and Rick is definitely yours!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyable post, as always I find it.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. Yes you cannot forget him too! Janice
ReplyDeleteVery sweet...I have been social distancing alone except for the furs. Sometimes that can be a good thing, no one to get on your nerves and in other ways it can get rough, no one to talk to. I am ready for a dinner out with friends.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo of you two!
ReplyDeleteYes, Rick deserves to be on the list. Especially if your personal struggles are putting him through as much as mine are putting poor Kelly through. Grateful to have him here, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteA lovely tribute to Rick. We are lucky to have great men in our lives :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys are too cute! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, how lovely <3
ReplyDeleteCheers to Rick! You guys are lucky to have enough other. This would be a hard time to be alone. We worry about Joan. Having our cat out there helps and she came out last weekend for a socially distanced dinner. We were outside most of the time and kept our distance. She is coming again tomorrow as it’s her last chance to see Paul before he goes back to daycare on 5/1. I am glad the weather is warming up so she can go on walks and have some socialization.
ReplyDeleteI’m also very thankful for Phil. He does all oir grocery shopping and errands! And keeps me sane and calm!
I don't know what I would do without my Jim! You and Rick have a seemingly similar relationship to us. We are lucky women! That is a fantastic tune. I listen to the Frank Sinatra station on Pandora regularly which plays this tune as well as many other feel good songs from the good old days. Happy music gives us that little extra lift we all need these days.
ReplyDeleteLove it..and I love how David from Travels With Birds speaks his mind. lol Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteSweet post Jeanie. Butch seeps me laughing and loving our lives together!
ReplyDeleteLoved your post Jeanie . . .
ReplyDeleteSweet Love You Two!
