As we walked in we were met with this splash of color.
It was so bright, so cheerful, I felt as though I was falling into it.
And the details were lovely.
It clearly offered a sneak preview of what we would find when we entered! Brightly painted stalls...
...and equally bright fruits, veggies, cakes and blooms.

Shopping would be fun in a market like that. I wish I could paint as colorful as those first to photos. Wish I had that kind of a painting style, too. Just wonderful!

I would enjoy stopping there. The murals are so big that you feel like you are right in them.
I'm always in search of bright colors; they do wonders to one's mood. Markets are the ideal place for such colors. They are my first stop when visiting a new village or town.

What glorious colours. I am surprised, I wouldn’t expect anything like that of the usually colourless and rather dismal English trader. Perhaps Oxford is different.

Wow, this market is great. I think, English people like markets, there are a lot of them in the UK. I haven't visited any in Oxford, but maybe next time, when I have more time in this city.

WOW... Oooohhhh... this was FUN! This covered market is such a sweet place in the midst of busy central Oxford... it was fun to go back with this, Jeanie!! I wish we had more variety of markets here... not just soul-less shopping centers full of chain stores, generic music, nowhere to sit and expensive coffee... haha! :/ ((HUGS))

I love those red telephone booths in London. Nel took a picture of one when she was in England. And that home cooked pie shop is charming - love the red building. What a colorful mural you have shared with us today. Lots of great moments and memories when you traveled to England, Jeanie.

I love old fashioned markets. Unfortunately, the council updated our indoor market in town and it's lost it's old market stall holders and it's personality.
We didn't make to Oxford. Next time perhaps. Thanks for sharing.
