Felties are Taking Over My World!

Things are nice in my little corner of the world, now that I'm feeling a little better.

Fairy fungi is probably the only mold that isn't in my basement, so I need to make my own!

But the cat is happy...

...and so is the pup.

The bird, meanwhile, is relieved that felted critters can't be after him! The red, red robin goes bob-bob-bobbin along!

And the wise old owls go "Who?"

At the Feltie Farmyard, the sheep are full and happy!

The bunnies are dancing with joy that it's spring...and it has finally stopped raining, at least for a day or two!

...and some even dress for the occasion!

So whether you are puttering in your cozy house...

...looking out at a barren forest...

...or a lovely day on the lake...

...of just window gazing...

...I hope you have a good time of it. And again, thanks for all your kind comments. I'm on the upswing now and all that good energy from you helped, I know.

  17. Love your new fuzzies!

I have been out of town. Sorry to learn of your flood, and then getting sick!

It's time for you to have some time to just feel good and not have a disaster that needs to be dealt with!

At least it's not too hot out.

    Sending you good vibes!

  19. My gosh! Once you got the technique down, you've really gone to town. They're so delightful, and it's impossible to pick a favorite, although that sailboat makes me smile pretty darned broadly!

I'm so glad you're feeling better. I'm sitting around giving myself lectures about paying more attention when I'm out and about: a double dose of chiggers and fire ants isn't life-threatening, but it sure is annoying! Here's to more benadryl for me and more fresh, summery air for you!

  20. Jeanie, I do love the felties. Especially the lamb. We had sheep at one point in our life, mainly to supply wool for my weaving. So glad to hear you are feeling better, do take it easy in the basement. Happy day and week ahead.

  25. Your felties are really wonderful. The other day another friend of mine posted her feltie from a class she took: she made a feltie Ruth Bader Ginsburg! So many ideas. I hope it's stopped raining for a while so you can get back to normal.

  31. Your little fuzzy creatures are so cute! You are a very creative lady. BTW, your previous post about the clean out is kind of going on in my house. I'm doing a clean out of closets as I go thru clothes to take to my sister's. I'll be in your neck of the woods by Thursday night. Yeah! Have a great week.

  34. Oh my gosh, these are so cute, Jeanie. You really have a talent making these precious felt creations. I have a blog friend who does felt people and animals, and her work is exquisite. I loved all of these, but the bunny with the Purple outfit really got to me. And that Robin came in a close second, as it's one of my beloved birds. What a wonderful art project you are interested in, Jeanie.

  44. Oh, these are wonderful, Jeannie - They each have their own personality, don't they? And the scenic ones are great - they look like little weavings. I am catching up with you here, and I see that I have missed a lot. For one, I hope that you are feeling better each day going forward. I will keep those healing thoughts coming your way. Scrolled down and so sorry about your flooding. You are dealing with quite a lot, lately, my goodness. Love the sweet photos of the little ones - so precious. I hope that you have turned the corner and have a good rest of the week, my dear. Sending Hugs xo Karen
