Well, before we continue the England posts with a move onto Bath and the Cotswolds, I wanted to take another quick break in the action to kick up some things happening now. Like spring! Well, spring on March 20 -- and who knows if it will look like it outside!
But inside I'm ready!
It started with bringing up the spring things from the basement.
And adding some real greenery!
(This poor shamrock looks pathetic now. So much for going away on vacation and overwatering a shamrock. Next time I'll know better but it was nice for awhile!)
Tulips spring it up, too!
And bunnies! This was my new Home Goods find. I couldn't resist!
What to do with a Mary Engelbreit teapot with a broken lid? A few flowers!
In another corner, a moss bunny, blooms and one of the bird houses I made long ago when on the birdhouse kick!
And in the kitchen, my Hall China Crocus pattern is out. This is just a part of it but that shelf is only so big and has to hold some everyday things, too!
Of course, Lizzie has to check everything out!
Who? Me?
Sad Bunny is my newest feltie -- and the first with bendable parts! He now has a little friend -- I'll share her later!
So, spring will arrive in a heartbeat! At long last.
Its been awhile! (But a short winter journey is in store before we return to the England posts!)

Your spring decorations look very cheery!
ReplyDeleteJust yesterday (no kidding) I put up the "SPRING" sign, thouch I know it´s too early!
ReplyDeleteThe tulips are just beautiful!! And the pot, clever and beautiful.
Bet Lizzie loves all the new decorations coming up :-)
To be honest... "Sad Bunny" is a good name, I´m curious to meet his friend!
Looks great! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Love spring flowers, especially tulips. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for the spring, but one day here and there we have a little bit of spring in the air. Otherwise, mostly grey and rainy. We know it will come so it is just to wait.

ReplyDeleteLIzzie is a pretty girl, I don't think I've "met" her! Love your Spring things.. it's refreshing, isn't it?
Hello,
ReplyDeleteYour Spring decorations are so pretty. Love your sweet Lizzie too. The tulips are beautiful. Enjoy your day, have a happy week ahead.
Such pretty spring decorations! Lizzie must be having fun exploring all the new items that have come out. Your sad bunny is adorable! With the right TLC, the shamrock can come back healthy.
ReplyDeleteThat Homegoods bunny is the sweetest thing apart fom :9 bunny:) Very pretty and Spring-like! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteLove the felted bunny. I know spring is coming. there is definitely pollen in the air.
ReplyDeleteYou put me to shame. I need to get some spring inside my house! I love your Hall China and the tea pot with the lily-of-the-valley inside and all the bunnies. Heck, I love everything you do to decorate for the various seasons.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks lovely! I especially like your sad bunny! You’ve got it down!
ReplyDeleteSo much cuteness. I love that little bunny and the pillow bunny is adorable. It looks very pretty around your house. Stay warm. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteLots of great spring touches! I am loving the bright pop of color on your tulips.
ReplyDeleteBring on spring, I say. You seem to know how to do it better than I do! Your felties have become amazing. We spent a lot of time in one area in Ireland looking for a native wild shamrock, but never saw one.
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I am DYING over the photo of "Jeanie-a Child" above the china shelf. Don't think I've seen that one before! You cutie, you!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and festive! I bet it helps take your mind off the drab-looking outdoor landscape! We still have a good foot of snow in most places, unless it gets direct, strong sunlight. Hopefully most of it will be gone by this weekend?
ReplyDeleteOur realtor sent us some flowers to cheer us up last week after our offer wasn't accepted. It's green and white and very cheerful, so that has perked up our space a bit. Although Oscar did a number on it the first couple of days so it doesn't look quite as great!
Your Spring decor looks great Jeanie. Love the flower pot and the bunny pillow.
ReplyDeleteHope Spring does come soon to your part of the country.
We've been in Autumn since the 1st of March and having unusually hot weather (35C/95F today) and similar weather until the end of the week.
You "Spring it Up" very well!
ReplyDeleteAll the bunny decorations are cute! Lizzie too!
ReplyDeleteOh, you are making me want to put my Easter stuff out, Jeanie. I enjoyed seeing all your Spring goodies. That felted bunny is so cute. That bunny pillow from Home Goods is lovely also. I've been wanting to go there lately, but it's in the next town, so haven't been there yet to see all their Spring stuff. The yellow tulips really brighten up the home, don't they? And that picture of Lizzie trying to smell the flowers is precious. What a delightful post, Jeanie. I always love to see your home treasures. They add cozy and charm to your home. : )

I'm ready to Spring too. But I haven't finished cleaning the whole house. I think I still need to get rid of some stuff I won't use anymore
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring to you too, Jeanie. I just love that little Sad Bunny. He looks very hopeful to me..Happy Tuesday..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteYay, I would have a spring in my step to have Spring decorations inside and Spring on it's way outside! How fabulous to have been on a birdhouse kick. Perfect for this time of year! Hey, guess what Jeanie? I'm writing this to you from the Cotswolds! It will be fun to see where you went :)
ReplyDeleteWren x
Lizzie is so cute sniffing the flowers.
ReplyDeleteI think the shamrock looks pretty in the bunny pot.
I haven't done any spring decorating. Not in the mood this year for some reason. Maybe it will strike soon.
Enjoy all your decorations. They are so cheerful.
So much fun here. I love Home Goods! And...the pics of Lizzie:)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all of your cute little Springys! Everything looks wonderful! Happy Spring.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Very lovely decorations. Its looks very fresh and very springy. Love it.
ReplyDeleteJeanie, how did I miss this post? Your new feltie bunny is so cute, you really have the hang of the felting! I love all the bunnies and flowers that have brought spring to your indoors. The crocus dishware is amazing! Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been absent so I'll be visiting all week, don't want to miss anything! I wish I had spring inside and hopefully will by next week. It certainly is here outside. Love all your pretties, the crocus pattern is lovely. I see I need to get to Home Goods, love your bunny and throw. Now that spring has sprung inside hope it won't be long before you see it outside.............
ReplyDeleteAnd now, Jeanie, you have me thinking that I also need to get out the Easter decos for outside our apt entry, which is the only place I really put them. The snow folks are still there decked out in green, but with the possibility of more snow over the next few days, spring isn't quite here yet in NH.
ReplyDeleteNice to see your inside views of spring. Hopefully your outside views are getting more spring like every day! Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLoving your felted creations . . .
ReplyDeletei like the blended parts look . . .
Also liking that there is someone else who
has some difficulty with keeping green plants inside the house.
I try . . .
Ever try succulents . . . I am a complete failure.
I love your spring decor, Jeanie. Sad bunny is so cute. He sort of looks like he has bell's palsy or has had a stroke, but that just makes him more endearing. ♥ Happy Spring. Looks like my spring decor won't be coming out this year, or else it will be late. But we're getting closer....
ReplyDeleteI love your springtime in your home. What a sweet, but not so happy bunny. I think after I finish my crochet project I will go back to some needle felting. That picture of Lizzie smelling the flower is so very sweet. What beautiful Hall China Crocus pattern, I love it. Definitely teapots with broken lids make for special vases for spring flowers.
ReplyDeleteLove your Spring decorations, and those tulips look lovely, such a nice colour.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Jeanie, I just love the photo of Lizzy smelling the flowers. How adorable! I've only put a few items out for spring, but I'm in an Easter blog hop next month so I'll slowly be bringing more goodies up from downstairs.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to get some Spring inside, even if you're not seeing it outside yet.
ReplyDeleteYes, of course, Lizzie had to inspect everything. It's her job. ;)
I can't believe how far behind I am in visiting. Being without internet for a week has truly knocked me off my feet. Your Easter and spring makeover is fabulous. I always ALWAYS love how you decorate for each of the seasons. That wreath is to die for and the bunny is great, too.
