...or the Snow Fairy...
When the children are all tucked in their beds...
...and you think you hear a little jingle someplace...
...When the snowman is sitting in place (whether yard or in the house!)...
...and the last decoration is in place.
When you've sung your carols...
...and your happy holiday songs...
Then it is time to sit back. Be still.
Have a special treat or a glass of wine.
Savor the magic of the season.
And remember, it's not just Santa we celebrate at this time of year.
So, whether you say...
...or...
... or Merry Christmas, may you enjoy a glorious holiday.
And if you've already had your holiday or it is yet to come, just remember...
Believe. Believe in something.
Because when everything gets really crappy, it actually does help.

What a wonderful picture that is of you and Santa, Jeanie. This is a heartwarming post, indeed. And that picture of your grandson with the jingle bells had me smiling. A beautiful Nativity, and Yes, that is the reason why we celebrate. Those old sheet music are treasures, and I LOVE the picture "she doesn't do subtle when it comes to Christmas decoration." Your snow fairy is lovely, and it reminds me of my white fairy that I bought last year. She's all white, but I forgot to put her out this year.
