OK, if photos of adorable little baby boys don't make your heart sing, I understand! But I'm afraid that's what this post has to offer! We had a delightful visit to our Baby Grands and I think we all left with smiles.
Now that I think of it, we may need to come up with a new moniker for the senior Baby Grand. Maybe both of them. Could be it is Big Guy...
...and Little Guy.
Little Guy doesn't do much yet but he has mastered the art of sleep with an A+!
This is a very good thing for mom and dad. Because Big Guy keeps them on their toes!
For example, he's learned how to unlock the gate that leads from the back yard to the street. Supervision is required! He's a bit of a daredevil, trying to take steps a little too tall for his not-quite-Big-Guy legs. Spotting is essential -- especially on cement steps! And if it looks interesting, it's edible. Not! (Although cake pops seemed to be just fine!)
He's fascinated with jewelry that bangles...
...and was quick to figure out how to make his new helicopter make different sounds.
We love the swing! Buckle up!
Now, smile!
And away we go!
That was fun! Let's go again!
OK, time for a rest with Grandpa. Because all that playing can tire a guy out. (And we won't say which one!)
Well, that didn't last long!
It's like going from one extreme to the other!
And we like that extreme just fine!
I have a feeling this one will sleep well on this sunny, lovely day.
And so will we!
Little kids are such fun! they really are full of the joys of spring!!!
ReplyDeleteAren't they both precious! And how well did the two of you sleep afterwards?! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThose two cuties are really adorable, I loved the time with my grandchildren when they were small. I'm definitely a sucker for cute little boys! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeletethose little boy photos did make my heart sing!! They are beautiful, I love how you set that swing up,, I bet everyone slept good!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so cute and have very expressive faces. :) How can you not have fun with those guys-especially the big guy. (The little one will get his day in time I am sure.) They certainly made me smile this morning. You and Rick are lucky grandparents for sure. Happy Sunday-hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWonderful time of life . . .
ReplyDeleteHappy you can be there to enjoy . . .
How fast the days go . . .
And how fast that energy too . . .
Hello, wonderful photos of your family. The grandchildren are adorable. I know you must have been happy visiting and the parents are probably happy with a little help. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Grands and oh so fun to spend time with and take photos of! Smiles on this Grammies face!!
ReplyDeletetoo adorable, and that picture with momma is so precious, especially!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more adorable to write about or photograph than small children and pets. These two are adorable and I love how you captured their parents, too. It's good to spend time with them, and yes, I believe big grand needs a new name (grin).
ReplyDeleteI.need.a.baby.in.my.life!!!!! I may have to adopt my neighbors granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteSooo cute! And with two baby grands, you're on your way to an orchestra.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteJeanie, You know I love those cute little boys. Got some around here too. Can't get enough snuggling. I laugh about your husband tiring ...those little ones may have short legs but they can absolutely wear us out. So cute. You will look back one day and laugh about that chocolate smile. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteI love that Rick has figured out that pushing the swing is a sit-down job. I have a little one who would spend all day in the swing. Next time I'm going to pull up a chair for swing time.
ReplyDeleteThose two children are beautiful.
Such beautiful little boys. Your photography skills captured them at their best. I spent the day surrounded with little ones too but unfortunately several of the parents are firmly against anyone posting their kids' photos online, so I have to respect that.
ReplyDeleteIt's so wonderful to see these beautiful, vibrant little lives surrounded by such love!
ReplyDeleteAw, heartmelting indeed to see such dear little guys. They are both adorable.
ReplyDeleteGoodness gracious--what cute little boys!! Fun pictures here, love the swing ones and the one where he is looking at the bracelet!Yep, playing with them sure can wear a person out...ha ha but it's a good kind of tired for sure!
ReplyDeleteSo good that baby grand sleeps well since the older one is so active.
ReplyDeleteMy 20 month grandson came to visit on Saturday and he just wants to "taste" everything from garden pebbles to plants, we have to keep a close eye on him at all times!
Nevertheless little kids are such fun, and it's so wonderful to see them develop and learn to speak, etc, etc.
Have fun Jeanie!
Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! You win the prize for the most adorable post. How wonderful! Enjoy every minute you can.
ReplyDeleteAww sooo cute, both of them! Looks like you all had heaps of fun :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful series of photos from an equally delightful visit. They do grow fast, don't they? Enjoy every minute you have with them -- as I know you will!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Jeanie! I hope you have an appropriately fabulous memory album to save hard copy print of them for their future viewing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your joy.
Cuties. They both look like you.
ReplyDeleteSooo cute..Big guy's blond locks are positively scandinavian gorgeous..lil' guy is a wee bébé:) Trying to remember if they look alike:)

Such lovely, lovely boys. Your photos are so beautiful. What fun you are all having!
ReplyDeleteOh, such precious pictures, Jeanie. I absolutely love the one of mother and baby. And the one of grandpa on the white chair and grandson on the white chair on the opposite side, that's a treasured picture. And those messy faces are always funny. Nel's baby is due any day, and getting exciting about that.

Such a great post about the fun of being grandparents! Your grandchildren are precious with their fair skin and bleached blonde hair.
ReplyDeleteGlad the little guy sleeps well. Not half as glad as his parents are with how busy the big guy is though, I bet!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the big guy is really smart... Perhaps a little too smart. ;)
How supre CUTE and Precious are your Little Guy and Big Guy!! Fun new monikers! Aren't they beautiful babes... *sigh* ... Good thing Little Guy is so little, what with all Big Guy is getting up too. Now I know why parents space their children. ;) haha... What an exciting time for you and your family--just love seeing and hearing about it! So many smiles... Just love that pic of Rick with Big Guy, just resting on the porch... Sweet!! And that with Molly--lovely moment... HAPPY DAYS to you all!! ((BIG HUGS))
ReplyDeleteLittle Guy and Big Guy are adorable! I'm glad Little Guy is sleeping well for mom and dad. I hope that remains the case for them! I'm so tired with one baby so can't imagine having a baby and a toddler to chase around! Big Guy is in such a fun age. It's great when you can really play with them and their personalities come out more and more. Paul is getting into a fun stage, too, and I look forward to all the stages to come as I know it just gets better and better!
ReplyDeleteThey seem like very happy guys! And you and Rick look positively radiant when you're with them.
ReplyDeleteSound like a good way to identify each of your guys. The big guy got a hair cut too and is looking oh so much older with a little guy around.
ReplyDeleteBabies and young children do make my heart sing - lovely post!
ReplyDeleteCould it get any happier than this?!! Big Guy is still a pretty little guy, especially when he sits in that big chair near his grandfather! Thanks for sharing all that Baby Love! And either they are extremely photogenic, or you are a talented photographer. I suspect it's both! Enjoy those little family people!
ReplyDeleteThey are both adorable, Jeannie! Enjoy, the time passes so quickly.
ReplyDeleteJeanie, I love little boys and their fun personalities. The baby grands are both adorable and I can tell that you both might spoil them a bit. Enjoy every minute making wonderful memories!
ReplyDeleteYour grandsons are adorable, Jeanie! I know they bring you and your husband a lot of joy. There is nothing better than grandparenting!
ReplyDeleteCute little and big guy! They get their work to be done fast. They grasp new things easily. Love the cute smile. Enjoy the time:)
ReplyDeleteBoth boys are adorable little guys! Seems like a lot of fun to have them around. Great photos!
