One of my favorite blog events each year is Paris in July, which Tamara from Thyme for Tea hosts. During this period, we write a weekly post connected to something related to France (not just Paris, despite the name). It could be a book or film, photography or travel, a review of a restaurant -- anything!
Check Tamara's blog for details. Posts begin on July 1 and the event runs throughout the month. You may do one or more each week, depending on how Parisian you feel or skip a week or two!
My mind is already spinning. My favorite books about Paris and France? My best French recipe? Revisiting a few photos? The possibilities are endless!
I hope you'll join us!
Lovely idea, have BIG fun! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! Enjoy! Thanks for popping into my blog Jeanie. I am trying to get into better habits in Blogland.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I should do this, but must think it over because I'm already involved in so many, well, involvments!
ReplyDeleteFunny, Jeanie! I have one post just ready for tomorrow on this... more or less!
ReplyDeleteAnother question: I think you could really help me (even more). Would you like to give me a less public place to eventually ask you questions? My address would be irisflavia @ gmx.de
I do have some "uncertainties"...
What a fun blogger idea!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to France, so I can't wait to see what you share.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love Paris so much I just might have to join in. This might be the push I need to get me blogging again!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fun idea, because Paris is on my bucket list. If I have time, I'll be sure to join you. If not, I'll still be by to see what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun, will pop by her blog and see what I can write about from a trip to Paris a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie.
Hello, sounds like a great theme. I have never been to Paris, only France near the Switzerland border. I will look forward to your Paris post.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, enjoy your day!
Looking forward to your posts about my absolutely favorite place on earth - though, admittedly, maybe not in July! Once was enough - hotter than the proverbial! LOL
ReplyDeleteJust yesterday saw the star-PACKED Broadway revival of Boys in the Band. Wow. This must be what it was like in the 40's when multiple stars where in the same show. Every actor was a *name* - and anything the script didn't provide - or creaked because of being dated - was taken care of through sheer talent and star power! If you're in NYC, be sure to catch it!!!
Gray, gloomy, rainy, thunderstormy day here today - hope it's nicer where you are!
Jeanie, love these photos. You know I love all things French so I'm in. Thanks for the info so I didn't miss out on the fun............
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea but I don't know enough about Paris to be a part of this. I will love reading some blogs on it though.
ReplyDeleteNow you have me thinking. I do love Paris and France so much!
ReplyDeletewhat fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanie for letting me know about this. I need to revisit my books and photos!
ReplyDeleteI've never made it to Europe - I'd love to see Paris. Looking forward to your posts.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like fun. I'm definitely going to participate!
ReplyDeleteI've mostly been to Paris in the winter, for some reason, or when the weather has been bad. I can hardly imagine it in July! :)
ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures and graphic. Can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to read along! You know how much I love all things French!!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a lot of fun, Jeanie! I'll have to put together some French-inspired posts... :) Heading off to read your posts.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Barb :)
This sounds like fun, Jeanie! I've never visited France, but hopefully, someday I will. I do like French food -- hope to find some good recipes as I follow along
ReplyDeleteThis is sooo much fun... And I wish I had some "postcards" to share, but we have yet to really visit and explore Paris. The hours we were stuck at Charles de Gaulle airport and environs one winter many years back doesn't really count... LOL! Looking forward to revisiting your Paris moments, Jeanie! ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteLove.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do an extended visit of France. I have been to Paris a couple of times. St Malo how lovely. I will have to get that book and read it and then go, as you said. Thank you for all the lovely comments you leave.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, I always love to read all about all things French!
ReplyDeleteWren x
