Nice photos. I didn't do anything I consider shopping, though I did walk through several outdoor markets without considering any actual purchases.
ReplyDeleteIs there room for me in your suitcase??????????????
ReplyDeleteA french flea? The place to be!!!

Oh, I did enjoy my trip walking down the streets of Paris. But my book is in French and I can't read it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in to see our new Diva. You can snap for me anytime! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Oh fun! There are SO many great places to shop in Paris! My favorite place on my last trip was the food market in the Bastille. I am planning to check out a different market on this trip, I think... We'll see. I have not been to Galleries Lafayette, so will be checking that out as well - it will be decorated for CHristmas I think so will look very grand I imagine!!
ReplyDeleteI want to go to Paris with you! In the meantime, I will be satisfied with seeing Paris through your eyes.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I too adore the basement of BHV - I always leave with something; the little 'warning' signs in French about cats are particularly cute - 'Chat Lunatique', for instance!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Now I want to go shopping in Paris!
ReplyDeleteI'll take the Tiffany ceiling, if you please. Can you have that shipped? Oh, and the box of buttons. But I can tuck those into my bag. ;)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos. Thanks for sharing!
I am ready to go back to Paris! Thanks for the temptations! :-)
ReplyDeleteI would love shopping with you in Paris. Oh would I love it. So much to see and do. Haven't seen the Tiffany ceiling or sparkly steps. How I would love seeing them.
ReplyDeleteOooo... All of those places would be on my shopping list too! We've got too taste! ;o) Would just LOVE to got to Paris just to go shopping... maybe I should... LOL! *SWOON* Just so much enjoying your July Paris posts, Jeanie. Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteHmmm - we are in the process of stripping the carpet and refinishing the stairs. I quite like the idea of a stairwell studded with crystals. :) Lovely reminders of your visit and a sweet ode to Paris!
ReplyDeleteI've been to France many time but unfortunately never to Paris (crazy, I know). I think I would enjoy following you around :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour, jj
Thank you so much Jeanie for your kind words about my painting.. I just love Willows blog, it is always such an inspiration.

You do the best themed stories! I feel as if I've been shopping in Paris right along with you. I'm not sure if I'd ever get past the book stores though!
ReplyDeleteMerci! Merci! for sharing your Paris adventures today. I love reading them when they pop up. They are like surprise flea markets. There one moment and gone the next only to return again.
ReplyDeleteI love macaroons. One day I want to make my own :D
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastique, Jeanie! I feel like I've just spent the day in Paris with you, stopping by some of my fave places (BHV, Ladurée, Shakespeare & Co.). Your love for the city is evident in every inch of this post! (And thanks for your kind comments on Paris Encore—much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Jeannie,
ReplyDeletethis post was pure pleasure!
Thank you so much for sharing all the Parisian beauties!
OUI!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous post. Shopping in Paris is amazing of course. I just discovered Rue Rambuteau a few days ago- wow, lots of amazing places there. I wish I'd known about BHV before we left Paris- I meant to buy a new door knocker but didn't find anywhere. Now I will have to wait years to get back there again. :-( I love the ceiling at Galleries Lafayette too, it's stunning.
ReplyDeleteOh you have made me wish we'd had the time, and finances, to take the Chunnel from Dover to Paris. What a delightful visual experience you present before me! Should Paris be in our future, I know the person to contact! Now I'm off to visit the other sites you mention! Au revoir!
