One of those treats -- fresh, juicy Michigan strawberries -- which drip white on my pale green shirt.
Cheri's husband, apparently no stranger to science or spills said, "Saliva. That will take it out." He says this with great confidence -- something about enzymes. (This was a seriously red stain.)Cheri suggests spot removal stick.
I used both -- but I swear the saliva worked better! The stain is gone. I'm a convert. A good thing. Michigan strawberry season has arrived!

Oh, my do those strawberries look good! Worth the risk of stains. I never thought about saliva as a spot cleaner. Thanks for passing it on!
ReplyDeleteHow does one use the saliva trick without offending? I guess I could just say, "Excuse me while I droll on my shirt. It takes out the stains."
