Artiscape and More!

I'm off on Thursday to Artiscape in Columbus. I'll be taking three workshops, assuming I get all I signed up for. One with Jacqueline Sullivan, another with Barbara Close and a third... rats! Can't remember -- it's bookmaking-oriented!

The other two are techniques for using paints and more to jazz up your papers, and we make sample books in each.

I'll have more on that later, but is anyone else going? Let me know! I'll be there Friday afternoon and Saturday.

(Really, if you have the chance to go, there are still some wonderful workshops available, the Marketplace rocks, and the artisan's show is always very good! Workshops range from around $40 to $95.)

My friend Judy Winter recently took some photos of me for her photography class. I need help in deciding which ones to print up -- do you have any feedback?

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

8. (This is the same as the one at the top of the post)

Thanks! (Isn't she good?)

How many do you need? My favorites are 8 and 4 (you are getting lots of mileage out of that hydrangea!) but they really are all good. The outdoor pictures seem starker but still beautiful. Have fun at your workshops.

So... sounds like you're taking off on an Artward Bound adventure! Sounds like fun! And I sure am looking forward to seeing the results of your experience...

I love your pictures, every one. You have a gorgeous smile and gorgeous colouring -- it all works out to beautiful pictures. My favorites, though?

#2, For the thoughtful warmth in your eyes

#5, for the great smile and direct look at the camera

#8, because it seems to capture everything wonderful about you.

Will be interested in hearing which ones you choose to print -- thanks!

I love 1 and 3 the best although the others are pretty good and I struggled between the lush hydrangea and the snow to be honest. What about a college of them all.
Your workshops sound great and I'm looking forward to seeing what you are inspired to make when you return. Have fun!

Have a great time at Artiscape! I have a few friends going and I'm sort of wishing I could go - but I'm taking Mette and Annie to Chicago for 4 days, so I won't really be suffering. All the photos are great, but I like the outdoor ones the best.

Number 8! Your spirit's in that one. Twinkle in the eyes, great hair. You should use that for the Author Headshot when you write your first book.
Srsly -- GREAT show!

They're all wonderful. Number 2 is my all time favorite. Number 4 is a close second, but you look a bit wistful around the eyes and mysterious in number 2. It's fabulous, dahling. I want to know this woman!

Is it too late to vote? I love them all - so radiant. But my fave of all is the one that you show first/last, with the flower.
You're a natural in front of the camera.
And I am so looking forward to hearing about your craft workshop weekend.
Did I thank you yet/enough for the list of how to do the tag book? And not on ly that but this week offers some free time in which to get one started - YAY!
