Exeutive Assistant Issues

This is why it is hard to work from my home computer.

The executive assistant seems to think he has the right to sit wherever he chooses. It wasn't quite so bad when it was my lap or when he decided the mouse was really a mouse.

Now he's taking over. Like the plague.

So, I'm taking a couple days off this Memorial Weekend to visit Joanne (from Ad Libitum) and meet some of her friends from Kalamazoo -- and special guest Karen from Karen's Muse and Musings! We're going to make paper dolls and play with glue! Sunday I'll come home and maybe get some herbs in pots!

Look for photos next week!

  3. I have a sneaky feeling that when executive assistants are this handsome they get away with a lot!! Enjoy your trip.

  5. This is hilarious. I could have written this post. My cat sits right where yours does - sometimes. Her favorite perch is right onto of my right hand as it rests on the mouse.

  6. I am NOT an executive assistant. I am The Boss.--Gypsy

P.S. Hope you enjoy a wonderful visit to Kalamazoo! (from me, anno)

  7. How funny! I can totally sympathize. You've seen pictures of Bama. She does just what Relyn said in her comment and sits on the mousepad right next to my hand and the mouse and directly in front of the computer screen. I spend my time looking from side to side around her trying to see what I'm doing.

Have fun this weekend and be sure to share pictures!

  10. An executive assistant like this will not give you attitude or call in sick. We should all have such wonderful assistants.

  13. So cute. Our kitties do the same thing. Or just lay on the keyboard.

  14. Ha ha! How much do you have to pay for this assistant?? :)

  15. I think all cats go to evening online "Cat chat" when we're not paying attention. I catch mine strolling across my keyboard as if they know what they are "saying".

  16. I can so identify with this! Annabelle does the same thing. Usually she's draped herself over the keyboard. A couple of times after I've shooed her off, I've gotten a surprise. Like the time she renamed my hard drive or the time she changed the language on my computer to Chinese. She's one mischievous cat!
