Rosie's Laundry

My next door neighbor, Rosie, is from Italy. She came to America in 1950 to marry. Her garden (which I'll feature when it is in full bloom) is a dazzling array of color and lush, beautiful blooms.

But she is spring cleaning now, and had her laundry on the line. I couldn't resist, and while her husband Frank probably thought I was certifiable when I asked if I could take pictures of Rosie's laundry, I forged ahead!

My laundry is too ugly to hang up on the line...

  1. OMG!! What gorgeous things your neighbor has! Laundry hanging out on the line is a big no-no where I live! But I do love the smell of sheets when they've been hung on the line. I miss that. I still sneak a few hand washables out once in awhile....so far I haven't been caught!

  4. Beautiful laundry! I grew up with laundry hanging on the line but in my current neighborhood I wouldn't do it as we are right across from the park.

  7. My neighbor's yard never looks like that! How pretty, I'd have been out photographing it too. Next door to me is just an old guy who smokes on the porch in his boxers. I don't think I'll be taking pictures of him.
