How exciting!! Gosh I am excited for you and can't wait to live vicariously through you! If I had 3 days in Paris I would probably take a walking tour through "Paris Walks" and get to know a neighborhood I hadn't explored before. Out of all the museums I've seen, d'Orsay is my favorite! But my favorite thing to do in Paris is to just walk and take in the beautiful sights. A walk along the Seine, a café crème at a sidewalk café, some fries at a café with a view... those are my favorite things to do! Oh and if the weather is nice, spend some time in the park behind the Notre Dame. It's beautiful back there. There are lots of park benches to sit on and you can take in the beautiful views of the area!

I never did get my act together to participate in Paris in July!! We had an apertif and escargot there for lunch one day and we looked at the dinner menu. It sounded great and we were within walking distance of our hotel so we had dinner there. Dinner was delicious and we dined there another night also and were equally pleased.
On two prior visits to Paris we enjoyed Chez Fernand on Rue Christian near St Michel. Delicious and we felt special it seemed to be mostly locals dining there for a delightful ambience. Small and intimate with excellent food.
The Musée Carnavalet in the rue de Sevigne chronicles the whole history of the city and has a beautiful garden that stole my heart. I have a gorgeous book about Paris with the picture of the garden on the cover,"The Secrets of Paris" by Michael Kerrigan.
I can't wait to see your posts on your trip.Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09559612002837383953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5681875145919050501.post-68076076211810964052018-08-05T05:58:03.377-04:002018-08-05T05:58:03.377-04:00Jeanie, Paris in October sounds perfect.
